Having produced bolt rifles since 1871 combining traditional values with the latest manufacturing technology, the Mauser M03 rifle was initially created in 2003 as a classic, solid rifle incorporating modern functions and qualities. It meets the highest requirements in terms of safety, shooting performance, trigger characteristics, and reliability. The Basic M03 design has a keen sense for shape and detail with the high quality timber stock (Grade 7in this case) in classic walnut, featuring a black fore-end tip, deeply cut fish scale checkering, cheek-piece and recoil pad. Barrel, action, steel sights and smaller parts are plasma nitride coated, thus providing a highly protective finish against use and corrosion and all this with the added versatility to change barrels and any number of calibre combinations by adding barrels, magazines and bolt heads.
